DAIKON CHICKEN SOUP ©






Daikon with Meat Soup is a "mama" 's recipe - my home style recipe. Daikon - a fruit vegetable when cooked gives out intense flavor but cooked with the right ingredient and method such as with meat in a slow-cooker or pressure cooker brings out the full-bodied, full-flavored aroma of the meat combined daikon flavor to the soup. It is also a healthy meal. Though the aroma of the cooked daikon is heavy, everyone loves it. 

I have experimented this simple recipe with chicken, beef and pork spare-ribs, and felt - beef and pork spare-ribs are tasteful and delicious.



Ingredients and Preparation for 4


Prepare 6 chicken drumstick, Daikon, and 1 tomato.













Cooking Steps

Add Daikon, Chicken meat and tomato, 6 cups water in crock-pot. Keep high temperature for 3 hours.

For flavor, add 2 tbs salt, 2 tbs chicken stock brand, 1/2 tsp pepper.
Daikon Chicken Stew Soup is cooked and nicely done.










Ready to serve.
