This dish of X.O. Beef can be cooked by grill, fry, slow cooker or oven. 

Fried Beef with String Beans in X.O. sauce is a common dish in the Chinese restaurant in this part of U.S. Sometimes I would blend green leafy vegetables with the cooked X.O. beef.

X.O. sauce can be used for frying meat dishes; rice or noodles.


Ingredients, Preparation and Cooking Steps for 4


Prepare 1 lb beef slices.
Prepare slices of onions, carrots, ginger, garlic, and red chilli.
To prepare X.O. Paste:- Blend:- 5 pcs shallots, 5 garlic cloves, 10 pcs small chilli, 5 tbs dried shrimp, 5 tbs dried scallop, 2 tbs sugar, 1/2 tbs salt, 1/2 tbs citric acid, 1 tbs cooking oil, 1/2 cup water.                               Marinate beef slices with X.O. paste, 3 tbs hoisin sauce and some pepper.
Add carrots, ginger, onions, garlics and chilli to marinated beef.
Wrap oven pan with aluminium foil and cook in oven at 400 F for one hour.


Ready to serve. Goes absolutely well with rice.
