BEEF n PRAWNS LOAF ©





This is an American recipe dish, commonly called MeatLoaf. I recreate the dish by blending seafood into the meat mixture and adding some natural food sweatener - carrots. Fresh mushroom can be added. Whole wheat bread is a healthy supplement to white bread for this recipe as this dish can be taken by itself without blending with rice, as what the Asians usually have in their daily meals.


Ingredients, Preparation and Cooking Steps for 4


Prepare 1 lbs ground beef, some medium size fresh prawns, 5 slices bread (whole grain bread or white bread), 1/2 cup fresh milk, 2 eggs, chopped onions, grated carrots.
Add bread (tear into pieces) and blend into the mixture. Add 2 tsp salt, some white pepper, some black pepper.
Add 2 eggs into the mixture and blend well.
Lastly, add milk and blend into the mixture.
Transfer mixture over to oven pan or loaf pan.
For surface glaze: evenly spread 2 tbs brown sugar or pancake syrup over the top and 2 tbs tomato ketchup over the syrup. Bake in oven at 400 F for one hour.
When cooked, lay aside to cool before slicing and serve.
