BRAISED PORK with MUSHROOM BEANCURD EGG ©





Braised pork with mushroom, dry beancurd sheets, and hard-boiled eggs in black bean sauce and hoisin sauce is a home-style recipe.



Ingredients and Preparation for 4


Prepare slices of onions, ginger, garlic, chilli, fresh mushroom, dry mushroom (soak in room temperature water until soft) and dry beancurd sheets. Also prepare 6 hard-boiled eggs (remove shells).








Prepare 1 lb pork shoulder butt slices.














Cooking Steps

Begin, by saute onions, garlic, ginger and chilli in 5 tbs cooking oil in a medium sized pot in medium heat until fragrant. Add mushrooms and continue frying.
Add pork and continue frying.
For flavor, add:- 4 tbs black bean sauce, 3 tbs hoisin sauce, 1/2 tsp pepper, 2 tbs palm sugar. Stir and continue frying. Cover with top, and leave to simmer for 5 minutes over medium heat.
Add 6 hard-boiled eggs and dry bean curd sheets. Stir and combine well. Cover with top, and leave to simmer for 5 minutes over medium heat.
Ready for serving.
