Braised Pork with Soya Sauce with eggs, mushroom, or dry bean curd are popular dish among the Malaysian Chinese, and common in most household.




Ingredients and Preparation for 4


Prepare slices of ginger, onions, garlic, and chilli.
Prepare 1 lb pork shoulder butt cuts.














Cooking Steps


Begin, by saute onions, garlic, ginger, chilli with 5 tbs cooking oil and 1 tbs sesame oil in a medium size pot in medium heat.

Add pork meat and continue stirring.
For flavor, add:-

4 tbs light soya sauce, 2 tbs dark soya sauce, 2 tbs fish sauce, 2 tbs pork stock brand, 1/2 tsp pepper.

Add 4 hard boiled eggs (shells removed).

Add 1 cup water.

Cover with top, and leave to simmer for 10 minutes over low heat.

Ready for serving.
